Hi, I’m Tim Hughes, the founder of geospatial company The Carto Group.
Next week is what I call ‘geospatial event week’ in London. The three main events that we attend as a company are:
- ESRI Annual Conference 2018, 22nd May (QEII Centre, Westminster, London)
- GeoBusiness 2018, 22-23rd May (Business Design Centre, Islington, London)
- VR / AR World, 3rd Conference, 22nd-23rd May 2018 (Olympia, London)
Rightly or wrongly, these events are nearly always in the same week. All three of these events have immense value to you, as an attendee looking for geospatial services. Myself, Nicholas Duggan and Geoff Blissitt will be attending the above events and would love to meet you. We already have a number of meeting’s set up, so be quick!
The Carto Group aren’t exhibiting this year, so why are we going? Well, for starters, it’s a great place to catch up with some of our partners and suppliers, as well as some of our existing clients. We also love visiting all the exhibitors stands, especially the new companies who we may not have seen before. We are always looking to improve the services and products Carto Group deliver, so these events allow us to gain feedback from the masses and see what the next big trends might be.
All the talks at GeoBusiness in particular provide a great insight into the world of geospatial. We recommend you register and take in as many as you can….after you have met us for a drink of course!
Give us a shout on Twitter @CartoConsult so we can meet up next week 🙂
